The starting of the blog...

Right.. well...

Seeing as I'm going to be embarking on some adventures and new stages I thought I'd set up a blog.. Just so that I could keep a sort of online diary to keep people up-to-date with whats going on. I know that its sometimes hard keeping in touch with everyone that I wanted to keep in contact with, and thought that this might be a good way to start -

for the people that see this and check this - I will try my best to update it and keep you all informed.

so - these are my important dates so far!!

June 8th - Kenya. working in Nairobi, staying in Ngong Hills. working with a charity called Tumaini kwa watoto (or in English - Kenya children of hope) check out www.kenyachildrenofhope.org

The main aim of the charity is to place street children back into families.

July 10th - off back to Uganda in central Kampala..

September 2009 - All Nations Christian college. Studying a overseas missionary prep course in biblical and Inter-culteral studies.

Thankyou in advance for checking and being interested in what I'm doing, thankyou for all the love and support.

  4. Hi Rach,So glad that you are safe and sound in Kenya. So instead of sending you to Morrisons perhaps we should get a cow,for when you get home!Sounds like you are going to be kept very busy with every day things like preparing food and cooking and the visits and office work, your little feet wont touch the ground.I am(in a christian way) very proud of you too !!!Love you sooooooooo much, keep being you and keep happy, love Mum x

  6. It all sounds AMAZING !!! We are all following your progress with interest and awe you are doing so well. I think you could be getting another donation coming your way from frontrunners, it was agreed the other night-- be good to tell the children all about what you spend it on to keep them interested in what you are doing, who knows your example to them could inspire them to do the same one day.
Your Mum has been here having some conservatory therepy today, I think it's awful that she waits till you've gone away then moves house cruel I say !!!!! Never mind love you can always stay here if you can't track her down. Keep well and look after yourself Hilary xxxxxxxx
